My dog eats rabbit poop.

So, my husband and I have had our dogs for 6 and 3 years, both rescues…both perfect (obvs).

Many of our friends with dogs have shared over the years that their dogs eat their own poop, each other’s poop, other poop etc, and when we hear these stories we’re always so happy to announce that our dogs don’t eat poop.

Well, yesterday, both pups had their annual checkup in which yes, their poop is viewed under a microscope and dagum if we didn’t find out that not only is one of our pups eating rabbit poop but has been for years! The vet just hadn’t told us before because apparently it’s not harmful.

So, I hang my head to join the other pet parents that have to be on the lookout for poop because we now have (and have had) a poop eater in our midst.

Can you imagine the SEO on this blog? It will definitely show up on the first page if you enter “poop”.

*Update, she threw up said rabbit poop and me thinking it was black beans, I picked it up. Why would I pick it up if it was vomit one may ask? Well, it was only the little pebbles and nothing else, and she’s my kid so stop judging. A truly neat life moment.
