Witchy Vibes
I often get leaning in and intrigue when I share that I’m a witch. It’s exciting, it’s different, and I own it!
I’m a healing witch, which (ha) means that I’m in tune with energy, the earth, and the cosmos. I talk to the moon, I celebrate equinox - I return inward and to the Earth to find out what I’m needing to hear/see.
The way that being a witch has shown up for me in the first 40 years of my life was a deep sinking feeling in my stomach, a sore throat, and deep aching in my head. My inner witch was trying to come through via my intuition, my claircognizance, and my clairsentience. I didn’t know. So, I would shove them down and they’d become painful in my physical body.
I finally answered the call a year ago and have been exercising and leaning in since then. What this looks like is that I have a few fave practices to connect back inward, but also to Gaia (Mother Earth) and nature, in addition to the cosmos (personally I resonate most with Jupiter). Specifically…
I consult and read tarot cards to validate what I’m feeling/sensing on the inside with what is manifesting on the outside
I drop cords from my root chakra into mother Earth and from my crown into the cosmos, to align and beam/charge my energetic centers
I set intentions and manifest during the New Moon to help support my physical path toward my highest self
I release anything that is no longer serving along with celebrating what is during Full Moon
I understand that everything happens for me, not to me…anything that is happening in the physical world to get my attention, I lean in and pay attention to find out what my team is trying to say to me (example, I’m in my watershed era so there is literally water coming into my home in many ways)
My sacral energy is healing along with my divine feminine, as this is happening, there’s a great purge happening in my body that is manifesting in skin rashes - I send energy to these places to support the purge and to provide love and healing, without judgement
Our highest ascended guides will not intervene or chat with us unless we call them in, I do this every day by welcoming them during points of the day that they’re giving me a “heads up” vibe e.g. angel numbers 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 1111, 1212, 1010 etc. - ask them for specific support and speak in positives as they don’t understand fear nor scarcity e.g. not, doesn’t, none, haven’t etc.
Nature is beginning to respond to my healing vibes and overall energy by sending animals to me in daily life that are smack-you-in-the-face specific in the form of bees, birds, Cardinals, Hummingbirds, creepy crawlies, Butterflies, Chipmunks, Dragonflies - it’s been a busy summer
When I enter into a safe space with an individual and we are navigating inner work, I am able to read their energy to be able to unearth the heart energy - this is often hidden by the mind because it’s not deemed “safe” since it often doesn’t abide by the norms of today’s society - I also already know (claircognizance) where we need to get to, but until we get into a space together, it’s not apparent to me right away…but I will get downloads from your guides if they’re wanting us to work together, I’ll also feel your blockages
That was fun, expressing those things, I don’t know that I’ve actually done that yet. How exquisite! I’m feeling extremely witchy and Gaia-aware today because tomorrow we’re having 5 trees brought down and I’m feeling heavy energy today as the realization that these trees are living and breathing, and I feel compelled and responsible to ensure they know that I love them, that they’ve held amazing purpose, and that I respect their essence.
That’s the other thing about being a witch - and you can call it whatever you’d like - it’s the awareness and care for how you move in the physical world…knowing that everything that you touch has a spirit and an essence, and that no matter how small or insignificant (to you) - they hold energy in this space and you, as a human are impacting that. I will spend time with these trees this evening giving thanks, honoring their time here, and talking with Gaia to share the “why” and the plans to replace them. I will hug them, I will thank them, I will appreciate them.
With light and love, I will send them to their next energy form. And so it is.
